George Hodgin

George spearheads the direct investment strategy and life sciences practice at Atacama. He is the founder and CEO of a clinical-stage therapeutics company. He is a former Navy SEAL Officer that led SEALs in counterterrorism operations in Afghanistan and southeast Asia.

George earned an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelors of Science in Economics and Mandarin from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead-Cain Scholar. George enjoys spending time with family outdoors.
